
One Spirit Africa is an African traditional afro music and drum and dance band from Ghana West Africa led by Fredrick Nii Kpakpo Addo, a well-known Ghanaian master dancer, drummer and choreographer based in Melbourne Victoria, Australia.
He is also a multi-instrumentalist with over 24 years’ experience in performance and has toured in Sweden, https://jackanugrahindonesia.com/ Israel, 22 states of the United States of America and also many African countries.
In addition, One Spirit Africa has worked with huge dance companies such as Soul Rythm African Drumming,Nokoba Dance Company, Kusum Ensemble,Asanti Dance Theater, Melbourne Djembe and the Anunyam Traditional Music and Dance Troupe, and has recently hosted a peace festival in Accra, Ghana, called Womba Africa as part of our project to work hard raise money through our music and support the street talented musicians in Africa.
One Spirit Africa facilitates annual cultural exchange tours to Ghana, hosting students from Australia, America and Europe, and teaches local community groups.
One Spirit Africa leads drumming and dance workshops throughout the Schools,Community Centres and performs regularly in Festivals and corporate events such as Sunshine Latern Festivals,African Festival Melbourne,Africa’s Got Talent,Emerge in the West Festival and many more. Fred is a United Nations Peace Ambassador and he is passionate about promoting peace and unity through tradition.
